It's great for late night feedings when you're drowsy and baby is hungry.

It's a great bottle for anytime that you are out of the house - shopping, with jogging stroller, or in the car.

He sucked air up for a while and it was like he could never get the milk up.

We have twins and these have been, honestly, great! We first tried them at about 1 month (corrected age - they were 3 months premature) and for as much as they sucked, they just weren't getting enough to come out. It was VERY, VERY slow to feed them this way and we gave up. Since then, and thinking about it and looking at the nipples these come with, we realized the nipples are too slow of a flow (for our babies, at least). All we did was swap the nipples that came with them with other nipples we received from the hospital when they were discharged (many other nipples work, too, like Dr. Brown's... ) and they worked PERFECTLY! Now they are 4 months corrected age, and these bottles are even better. Sometimes you have to put it back in when the baby lets it come out, but other than that, they are a lifesaver. Also, we find, when they are really hungry, they rarely let the paci come out.

Also, you DON'T have to suck any of the milk out yourself... like someone else said, you can just squeeze the nipple a couple times and also it helps to hold the bottle up above your baby's head when they first start sucking (to help get the milk up), after that, you just set it down beside them and they suck away. We've never had a problem with the milk "not staying in the nipple" like someone else mentioned.

I should also add that we use them almost every time we are out and about. And, nearly every time we've been out and people see our twins eating while in the stoller, they stop and ask where we got them.

Again, our babies are 4 months now and they have no problems with these.

We are definitely very happy with this purchase (and are back on Amazon.com to order some more)!!

First, to all the parents who are sucking on the bottle to 'get it started' for your babies - STOP. LOL, all you have to do is squeeze the nipple once or twice, which pushes the air down and pulls the liquid up. If you read the insert that comes in the package, you would discover that for yourself.

The Podee has been a lifesaver for us. It's great for traveling. We use it when our baby is in her car seat or stroller. It's great for late night feedings when you're drowsy and baby is hungry. How many times have we all nodded off a bit and dropped the bottle? Too many times to count. Now, I can hold and rock my daughter comfortably while she eats without worrying about nodding off and upsetting the mood.

Everytime I am out in public and my daughter is in her stroller happily sucking away on the Podee, people are amazed by this device, most have never seen it before, and everyone wants to know where to get it!

This is the GREATEST idea ever. Unfortunately, it is difficult for my daughter to suck hard enough to get to the milk...perhaps it's because she doesn't use a pacifier.

I really wanted to love this bottle. I have 3 kids 3 and under, with my 3rd being a 6 week old at the time I purchased this bottle. My newborn just happens to rage for a bottle when I'm getting the kids out the door for preschool and daycare, so I can't sit and feed her (she's a slow eater). I ordered this to help me be able to make sure the baby is fed while I simultaneously help my other two kids (3.5 and 1.5 yrs old) get dressed and out the door. Unfortunately, I found that my young infant was not able to suck strong enough to get the formula up the tube. I even tried getting it started for her, but she couldn't keep it going. Also, I could not find different speed nipples for podee, thinking that maybe a faster flow nipple would help her. So I used a similar style nipple from another brand, and while it did look like it helped, it was not enough to help her get the formula up.

It wasn't until after I bought this bottle that I found other parent reviews that had the same issue with young infants. I think the bottle and its idea is really great. I will keep trying this bottle with her (right now, I'm just using blankets when I need to hands free feed her) until she finally is strong enough to get the formula up. I gave this product 3 stars b/c I think the concept and idea is great, and I do think this would work wonderfully in a baby who is a little older with a stronger suck than a newborn, but since it hasn't worked for me yet, I couldn't give it more than 3.

I get the concept- hands free is great, but this doesn't work for 2 reasons:
1. I have a 3 mth old & he is a BIG eater! I tried it with him, but he had to suck and suck (like you would if you were drinking a thick milkshake). When it finally came up to the bottle nipple he had to work so hard to keep it coming. He got incredibly frustrated & it kept falling out of his mouth. My husband begged me to change back to our regular bottle & we haven't gone back.
2. There are 2 tubes used in putting the bottle together. I washed the tubes & 3 days later there is still moisture in the long tube... An easy breeder for mold, which is the last thing a baby needs to ingest. It came with a pipe cleaner-like brush, but that didn't dry up the moisture.
For me, the first reason was enough to not like it, but number 2 didn't help.
