We have twins and these have been, honestly, great! We first tried them at about 1 month (corrected age - they were 3 months premature) and for as much as they sucked, they just weren't getting enough to come out. It was VERY, VERY slow to feed them this way and we gave up. Since then, and thinking about it and looking at the nipples these come with, we realized the nipples are too slow of a flow (for our babies, at least). All we did was swap the nipples that came with them with other nipples we received from the hospital when they were discharged (many other nipples work, too, like Dr. Brown's... ) and they worked PERFECTLY! Now they are 4 months corrected age, and these bottles are even better. Sometimes you have to put it back in when the baby lets it come out, but other than that, they are a lifesaver. Also, we find, when they are really hungry, they rarely let the paci come out.

Also, you DON'T have to suck any of the milk out yourself... like someone else said, you can just squeeze the nipple a couple times and also it helps to hold the bottle up above your baby's head when they first start sucking (to help get the milk up), after that, you just set it down beside them and they suck away. We've never had a problem with the milk "not staying in the nipple" like someone else mentioned.

I should also add that we use them almost every time we are out and about. And, nearly every time we've been out and people see our twins eating while in the stoller, they stop and ask where we got them.

Again, our babies are 4 months now and they have no problems with these.

We are definitely very happy with this purchase (and are back on Amazon.com to order some more)!!

First, to all the parents who are sucking on the bottle to 'get it started' for your babies - STOP. LOL, all you have to do is squeeze the nipple once or twice, which pushes the air down and pulls the liquid up. If you read the insert that comes in the package, you would discover that for yourself.

The Podee has been a lifesaver for us. It's great for traveling. We use it when our baby is in her car seat or stroller. It's great for late night feedings when you're drowsy and baby is hungry. How many times have we all nodded off a bit and dropped the bottle? Too many times to count. Now, I can hold and rock my daughter comfortably while she eats without worrying about nodding off and upsetting the mood.

Everytime I am out in public and my daughter is in her stroller happily sucking away on the Podee, people are amazed by this device, most have never seen it before, and everyone wants to know where to get it!

I love the podee bottle it's every mothers dream & it's actually helping my 3 month old daughter learn how to hold her bubba. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is because it leaks sometimes & they should make it a little easier for the baby's to be able to suck up the milk to the top.

Product not so great. Even when you prime it it continues to have air through it. Not good.

Seems like a great idea, but stay away if you are concerned about what materials it is made from. My first inquiry to customer service received this response:
"Silicone nipples and all the plastic parts are made of FDA-approved materials."
When I ask to know specifically which FDA-approved materials, I was told:
"The materials are our trade secret and we normally do not share that information freely. But you can make sure that they are all FDA-approved materials."
After a third email, I was told:
"Our product is BPA-free."
However, that doesn't tell me if it is made with Bisphenol S, a popular substitute for BPA that is just as bad. It's too bad, because I'd love to try this product, but how can I trust a company that won't tell me what it's made of? That raises alarms for me.

Our little boy had very bad reflux and would vomit pretty much anything he ate from breast milk to every type of formula there was. It was so bad he could not lay down at night to sleep but had to sleep in a bouncer. We bought this bottle to try so he could sit up to eat and also so he could eat in the car. The first time we tried it in the car we fell in love with it, no more of me trying to reach back there to hold a bottle for him, he could hold it himself until he drifted off. At home he can actually carry it around with him now (we made a little backpack for it out of the carrier sheep thing they have on their website. The only issues I had with it I don't think even warrant it not getting 5 stars, the nipple it came with wore out pretty quick but the $1 store has bottles and nipples that will fit the system so that was not an issue. The tubes are easy to clean with the little pipe cleaner that comes with it. I recommend boiling the whole system once per week or putting it in your dishwasher. We did replace the tubes after about 6 months of use but this was simply because they had discolored not a necessity. Also if the tubes stop fitting on the connectors after a month or two (due to being pulled off by you washing or an overzealous toddler) simply us scissors to snip them shorter at the spot where you can see they are stretched by the connectors. We also cut the tube that goes into the bottle at a slight angle. I never really have a problem with my son getting milk unless he is half asleep and then just squeeze the nipple once or twice and it will draw the milk up no problem. I love this bottle and since we bought it my son's reflux which did not respond to formula or medication is completely gone. Our pediatrician said he will be looking into them as an option for this issue in other children as well.
