Love the Hardcoat version of this product. Definately dries hard and not tacky at all. Used it for several projects now and it's time for me to order more...

I just used this to re-do my coffee table. It was very easy to use and I am completely satisfied with the results! I wished I looked at my local craft store before ordering b/c normal price for this is $5.99. So I paid double by ordering on Amazon. Lesson learned.

I am glad I found it and bought it and used it however upon researching mod podge in general I discovered that hard coat needs to cure for 4 weeks before you spray with acrylic sealer. If you are in any kind of hurry, please note that you need to use a different mod podge project. They have many. I have used most of them.

I've put together make-up magnet boards for a housemate and for my stepdaughter. (basically decoupaging paper onto a sheet of galvanized steel) This stuff is perfect for such a high-use, high-pressure application with zero stickiness and a satin finish. If you're making something that is going to get handled a lot, use this stuff. It doesn't come in economy sizes (Drat you, Plaid!), so I use the plain, old matte Mod Podge to adhere the paper onto the surface, then "varnish and seal" with the Hard Coat. It's more economical that way.

The regular Mod Podge- Gloss Finish (orange label) is just too glossy and shows all the brush strokes and lines. This Hard Coat version is so much better! No lines or streaks and not too glossy. Has a great finish. Looks natural and helps make the surface you put it on durable. Looks great on painted furniture as an extra protective layer so scratches/chips in the paint dont occur.

Works wonderfully, spreads easily and dries hard. It doesn't obscure the images or text, and sticks well. Works much better than Elmers glue or diluted wood glue.

This is a great product. I was unaware of it until I started googling for ideas on creating decorative light switch covers (was remodeling my kitchen and didn't want ugly white switches on top of my backsplash). It turns out the scrapbook paper, Mod Podge, and a cheapo light switch cover are the materials needed to make some really nice decorative covers. I'm sure there are a ton of other uses for this great product, but this was my first experience with it.

And you should be grateful.

I have been using Mod Podge for a some time, the original glue is a great product and my go to for anything paper I need to bind. I bought this product specifically because it is a sealer, meaning it does not have a tacky finish like the original Podge. This product seems very robust, though it takes 4 weeks to cure. I have used it to decorate lighters in the decoupage style and the finish holds up great. It is sandable and can be polished with steel wool.

In my experience, you can't go wrong with anything Mod Podge, it's great stuff. This finish is for furniture and cures hard but takes a long time to cure. The outdoor Podge takes only a few days to cure and I can imagine it is very robust too. All the bottles are the same volume and you always get a useful glue, so I would say you can't go wrong with what is available.

I recommend this product if you are patient and want a durable finish that will last.

A useful review for you. -Daniel
