Excellent resource
I thought this book was a great resource for the classroom. It is full of great poems for just about every occasion. There is always a poem that you can use in class to relate to subjects you are teaching. Good investment!

A Poem A Day by Helen H Moore.
Nice idea, but hugely disappointed by the fact that the book is dominated by the poetry of Helen H. Moore (the author). If I had wanted a book of poetry by a particular author I would have purchased that. There are some nice poems by other authors but they are in the minority.

My second grade teach has this book and I really like it. It's my favorite poetry book I've read so far and now I want to write poetry too! This is the first book I ever went to the bookstore to find and buy. You will love it if you read it. Happy reading!

This book of poems will satisfy my desire to have poems that go with the themes that we are covering in the classroom. There are great activity ideas with each poem to enrich the classroom learning experience.
