As a child I found a very worn book of poems written by Ella Wheeler Wilcox and fell in love with it. I read it so often that the owner of the book gave it to me to keep. So I was delighted to have found this Kindle version of another of her books. Her poems are like treasures for yourself or to share with others. I love the poems this woman writes and although she wrote them long before I was born I find them all so heartfelt and revealing. She has an easy to read style but her points always hit home. Everyone likes different styles of poetry so I can't say that this would fit everyone's tastes in poetry but if you like Victorian writers and poetry than I think you'll really love this book and any other book she has written. She is my favorite poet of all time.

Anything composed and written by Ella Wheeler Wilcox is thoughtful, sensitive, and memorable. It can be memorized and shared. I most appreciated "The Voice of the Voiceless"!
