I didn't let myself irritating with the previous comment and bought the book. It's a collection of Arabic poem style called Nabati.
It's a very touching style and to think that somebody who made Dubai a modern place can be an excellent poet! It's simply worth to read and to try to understand Arabic poems through this book.
Very recomendable if somebody likes to know poems outside Europe and America as well as Asia.

I find the poems of H.E. Sheik Al Maktoum to be sensitive and beautiful. So seldom does poetry pull me in to read it. But his poems are very readable and so filled with passion and love of life. They are a joy to read.

Well, well..... OK he's a sheikh of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and he's making money. But does it mean he is a poet? A clear NO.

This is one of those books the world does not need.

Just stay away from it.
