We purchased this book, and "Moon Lore", and several other books of poems/poetry. For me, it has surely been a worthwhile investment! Many times when I've been in tense situations, remembering the words and concepts,of some of my favorite poems has helped keep me more calm and situationally aware. As some of histories more famous leaders have been poets or quoted poetry, I feel that at least a blushing acquaintance with it is good for you. Give it a try!

3.0 out of 5 stars It's cheap looking January 15, 2014

I like the content inside the book.

But I don't like the casing in which it is in. It's a paperback and it's a weird cover.

Anyway, for the price, it's a good book of poems!

They have a few select gems, but his essays are his treasures. A person would be wise to read better poets.
