5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring, March 26, 2000
By
This review is from: Poems of Rumi (Audio Cassette)
There is hardly anyone that matches Rumi's ability to talk about love in a spiritual, sensual, ecstatic, yet very pure way. Both translation and narration are true to that spirit. Wherever you are on the path to truth, you will find inspiration here.

5.0 out of 5 stars When Are We Going to See This on CD?, March 15, 2009
This review is from: Poems of Rumi (Audio Cassette)
I love this material so much, I've bought it three times, and have worn out the cassettes each time. The music and the recitals make for a magical listening experience that transforms you in the process. I am not kidding.

I would like to buy this on CD, but it seems to be "out of print" now.

5.0 out of 5 stars drums, flute, and sitar drive the rhythm of thought, April 11, 2010

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Poems of Rumi (Audio Cassette)
This is not like other items in my collection. The voices sound older than anyone I am used to listening to. It is creepy like a white cow that eats all the grass in the meadow during the day and then worries in the dark that grass is gone, but in the morning the grass is again waist deep. Talking about the anxiety of cows is like worrying about killing the cow to get the cheese.
