Bravo to Janet Morgan!! She has created a wonderful world of characters in her first Killdeer Farm mystery, and I am deeply anticipating the further adventures of Jessie and her friends. In Poetic Justice, the reader becomes ensconced with Jessie's determination to solve the mystery of Alfonse's killer, making the storyline a definite page-turner right up until the conclusion. This book is a must for anyone who is a big fan of mystery novels. But even if that particular genre is not normally your taste, this novel will make quick work of that!

I found Poetic Justice refreshingly charming, witty, and captivating. The protagonist is believable and down to earth. We all know the "antagonist" who leaves us feeling little compassion at his early demise. It was a relief to not encounter foul language or detailed gore at the violent crime scene. Morgan has proved that fiction can still be written to allow the reader's imagination to fill in the details. It was a great read and I can't wait for the next "Killdeer Farm" mystery. I feel as if the characters are already part of my family and I wait to learn more about "Ben" the resident ghost.
