Great Teaching Tool!,

This is an interesting, engaging resource for teachers in particular. It's sometimes difficult to get high school students to understand what the Beat poets were trying to capture. "Poetry and the 1950s" gets to the heart of the matter by focusing on historical context of this group of poets and by discussing particular poets and poems.
