Poetry has different things for different people. Some find it relaxing, while others read it to gain deeper insight into either the world around them, or the writer's thinking. This book contains poetry for both types of people. It has some lighter fare (Sore Loser, Good Times), and even some deeper thoughts (Instrument for the Soul, What a Name). Some of the poems may even stick with you throughout the day (I was chuckling about the one titled Sore Loser for quite a while). I admit that poetry is not one of my favorite types of literature, but for $6.99 I figured why not? I am pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised.
