I enjoyed this book so much that I bought a second copy as a gift for my public library.
I would love to see this idea catch on because libraries are trying to serve more patrons with less funds in these troubled times.

This book of poems is beautiful and spell binding. Think of a question you wish to divine the answer to and focus intently on that question, flip the pages of the book, stop the page with the tip of a finger and read the corresponding poem, the results will surprise and amaze! I have used the book many times and find it to be a wonderful addition to my collection. Gather a group of friends, pass it around the dinner table or bar and you will have an instant ice-breaker and conversation starter. The collected poem excerpts span the ages and will inspire you to delve deeper into the writers' full works, I discovered many poets that I knew nothing about. A must have for fans of great poetry, fortune telling, magic eight balls and those with a sense of adventure! Wonderful!

I bought this book about 3 months ago & I really love it! It is amazing accurate. The coolest thing is that it is an oracle & a book of beautiful poetry. Lots of classic poets, but also local (SF) poets, as well. I like to give this book as a gift -- it is always the most unique & thoughtful present.

"The Poetry Oracle: Ask a Question and Find Your Fate" is a book that uses poetry from countless poets of varying fame and notoriety as passages from these poets are presented in a format to simply state and emphasize its ideals. For lovers of poetry and the knowledge they present and offer, "The Poetry Oracle" is a choice and very highly recommended collection that shouldn't be overlooked.

We all yearn for words of wisdom at many times in our lives. This book provides this and more. Ask a question then open the book and point your finger to a spot on the page--like the I-Ching, the words resonate, heal, inspire and move people to action.
The poems are carefully selected and appeal to young and old. Fun to do at a party--or during any life transition. This is a book that everyone should have easy access to at all times! Wonderful illustrations as well.

I received The Poetry Oracle and I love it! The book was beautiful! The colors used on the cover and artwork throughout was beautiful and I couldn't help but browse all the pictures before I got a chance to read. As I started to read the book, it had many beautiful poems and I loved the fact you could also use it to do fortunes - very clever! Very talented writer and illustrator, and I look forward to more work from them.

I brought it to a family reunion and it was a hit amoung the grandparents, parents, cousins - all generations. Also, I left it on my desk at work and now a few co-workers want it - I told them to get their own! Expect more orders for this special book!
