This book, reputedly, contains every published poem by Robert Frost, from each of his eleven books. As such, it is the ultimate collection of Frost's poetry now in print.

If you are a Frost enthusiast, or if you like poetry about life in rural New England, you need this book.

Also intresting are the endnotes, which track editorial changes Frost made in each of his poems through the years.

This is a great book to read while sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold winter night; or while sitting in the woods on a nippy autumn day taking in the colors of fall.

Robert Frost has been one of my favorite poets since I watched him attempt to read a poem on a sunny, crisp morning at John F. Kennedy's Presidential Inauguration.

Although I have only owned this book for only a few months, it is already littered with Post-it notes marking the location of my favorite poems. I am told this is the only comprehensive volume of Frost's 11 published books. Edward Lathem, a Frost scholar and editor of this volume, includes bibliographical information on the poems' publication and specifies the textual changes Frost made over the years.

Although I have decades of exposure to Frost's work, I inevitably find a new nuance or thought as I thumb through this volume's pages. It is a fitting tribute to a four-time Pulitzer Prize winner and a man I consider the United States' greatest poet.

Robert Frost's poetry has accompanied me on many a journey throughout my life. He has helped to comfort me in times of sadness and disappointment. He has lifted my spirits as I walk through the woods with him traveling down that road less taken. He has allowed me to escape steamy hot summer nights into a snowy wood, refreshing my mind with the pictures he poetically presents. This volume of poetry has been a friend wherever my life has taken me and I highly reccomend it to any lover of Frost and anyone who enjoys a warm companion on their own life's journey.

Since reading" Stopping By Woods" back in high school I've always had an affinity for Robert Frost.The Pulitzer Prize winning author had written much more than that which kept gnawing at me over the years to want to always read more of him. This book is a pretty complete collection of his work and representative of his lifetime of struggle and depression as the poor man had a horrible life. Too much death and loss for anyone to deal with. Now I know why his work took the shape that it did. Not that it was morbidly preoccupied but you get the faint hint of melancholy in much of his poetry.His personal struggle to understand and put things in perspective weighed heavily in his works and he appeared to take comfort in things that would not leave him so suddenly and forever.This book is full of trees, plants, sky and stars,fences and fields,homes, both spooky and comfortable,smart folks, dumb folks,dead folks,rocks,local history and American history.All of it is here and you need not go further unless you are a doctoral student.It includes the work he did for John F. Kennedy's inauguration which the poor man couldn't read because of sun glare.It is a wonderful work and will always be associated with the beginning of Camelot.True, some works were not as entertaining or well done but I can count dozens contained in this book which I have added to my favorites aside from his better known works.There are other books out there but for the common reader, the person who wants a nearly complete collection of a mans works then this collection of Frost will do just fine.Poetry is a very personal thing and to judge a writer based on how I feel is both wrong and unkind. The same piece can affect two people in such radically different ways that to foist an opinion would be criminal unless one is asked. No one is asking so all I can do is tell you that if you are looking for a solid collection to give you a good look at Frost and his works then this book is for you.Buy it, you won't need much else and you will have enough Frost for a lifetime,quite practically all of it and then you can judge for yourself just how good he was.

My favorite poet by far and one that I have bonded with in a conflict with a college professor who presumed to know and explain what Frost meant by his poem "Stoping by the woods on a snowey evening". Actually, per my mentor who met him and asked him personally what he meant; He said he had no hidden meaning in the composition.

This is a great fun book, it's been years without Robert Frost. Glad to have him at my side again.

Robert Frost is one of the great wizzards of poetry. His poetry is deep with a certain sense of mistery, both a pleasure and a challenge. You cannot just read through his poems. They force their audience to reflect and search for the meaning of the written. This book is not the latest and a little outdated, but it is printed in manner that makes it very easy and enjoyable to read.

The book is better than I thought, almost brand new! It is excellent. I will definitely continue to buy book from Amazon!
