I love this book for the deep emotions that it portrays. Just about every poem in the collection talks to me and teaches me one or two things about life that I either did not know or had forgotten I knew. "Last Journey" made me feel bereft and brought vivid memories of my favorite uncle's death back to me. I become engulfed by sorrow each time I look at this poem. My all time favorite is "A Love Discreet". I have never seen myself much as a romantic but this poem brings me quite close to that state!It's a great book. I don't think anyone with deep emotions and serious thoughts will regret buying it. |
