THE SESAME STREET REJECTS RETURN WITH ALL NEW MISSIONS. THE BEST PLAYSTATION GAME EVER? I WOULDN'T GO AS FAR AS SAY SOMETHING I MIGHT REGRET NOW. PLAYS EXACTLY LIKE POINT BLANK 1. 5.0 out of 5 stars Crack Shot, December 5, 1999

Dr Dan and Dr Don, the evil gun toting geniuses of point blank are back and they just got loonier!Point Blank was the finest gun game ever to grace the Playstation, it had a sense of humour, it had tons of levels and above all it was extremely adictive. Well now its back bigger, bolder better and a lot more fun than before. Set in a theme park, Point Blank 2 offers you the chance to play head to head with a friend (the best option)by your self for points, a rather dull quest mode, party play and much more. There are more cute and cuddly things to shoot at, more tricky shots to make and more chances to out shoot your friends than you will probably ever need! This is the finest gun game on the playstation and should be played using the finest Playstation gun (the G-Con or Guncon,Depending on where you live!) and you should own this game, you really should, it is just a shame about the quest mode (although it is better than the one in point blank), which is both dull and pointless.

Keep the guns of the streets, play with them at home!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best PlayStation game ever!, October 21, 2000

This review is from: Point Blank 2 (Video Game)
This game is THE BEST game for Playstation there is! I love it! There is four different things that you can do in the game. There is Party mode, Practice Mode, Point Blank Castle, and Theme Park mode. Practice mode is where you can play your chooice of any of the gun challenges there are. The challenges are seperated into categories such as defense, animal targets, brain teasers, and many more. This is a good way to compete with your friends if you have only one gun, because you can play for high scores. Point blank castle is a mode with three choices, versus, endurance, and arcade mode.In endurance mode, you must clear as many stages as you can with only 3 lives. In Arcade Mode, there are four different difficulty levels, practice, beginner, advanced, and the insane mode.In this mode you play sets of four games, usually with at least one insane thrown in. The last is versus mode, where, if you have two guns, you can compete just as if you were playing the arcade mode. Next, in the Party Mode, there are again three party modes that you can choose from, tournament, team battle, and turf war. In tournament, you and up to four friends can play against each other in a tournament type battle. You play random challenges and whoever scores bet goes on to compete with the other winner, and so on. In team battle, you split up into red and blue team to do the same as tournament mode, without the tournament. Turf war is where you and your friends take turns stealing each other's territory. Moving on, the theme park mode is where you a boy with a GunCon who is visiting a theme park and finds out that the princess has been kidnapped. You are given tickets to the four rides at the park, which you must beat to get clues on what the princess looks like. The GunCon is awesome, the came rocks, and if you are a parent there is no violence and if you are a kid you will still like it. I rate this as a 5 star, although i wish it was possible to rate it higher.

It's basically a virtual shooting gallery, but if you don't want your kids playing mature-rated shooting games, this is your best bet for keeping them happy. Plenty of superb challenges, tight gameplay with the GunCon, and a frantic two player mode. I love it!

This game was great. It is not violent and it is great for parents that do not want thier kids playing violent video games. This is a fun game. I am a parent with a five year old boy and a eight year old boy. I love playing it with them. If you are a parent that does not like your children playing violent games this game is the game for you.

With point blank 2 you will never play a better light gun game for a home system. What else is nice is that this game is suitable for the little ones as well. Try it out, its a load of fun!

I have been looking for pointblank and pointblank 2 for some time. I really enjoy the simple aspect of the game (Pointblank 2). I also like the dificulty levels as well. It is clean fun for kids and adults alike and allows hours of entertainment on a hot or cold day. My brother-in-law bought the game after I told him about it. Unfortunalty he bought the one I was going to go back and buy. It's a lot of fun and variety of fun.

THE SESAME STREET REJECTS RETURN WITH ALL NEW MISSIONS. THE BEST PLAYSTATION GAME EVER? I WOULDN'T GO AS FAR AS SAY SOMETHING I MIGHT REGRET NOW. PLAYS EXACTLY LIKE POINT BLANK 1. Not the best Playstation game ever. The best party game, maybe. Guncon compatible (Guncon: The most advanced light-gun available).

Includes the arcade game along with new stages and objectives. One to two players. one to eight players (taking turns of course) in party play. The same screwball trademark comedy found in the other two games. And shear fun for kids and adults alike. This game is off-the-wall wacky. Cartoon like stages, characters, and gameplay move this game along nicely. Feels sort of like a sequel and an expanision pack game. If you like light-gun shoot em' up action this is your game. Gets repetetive over time and the replay value will drop from what I would say a 5 at first to a 3 in the end.

If you purchased and enjoy this title you may also like to try Point Blank 1 & 3, and the Time Crisis series. I have written reviews for all of the above titles here at Amazon if any one is interested.
