Within a week of owning this book, I saved $54 at the grocery store! Rachel gives some awesome advice on how to easily save money without spending a boat load of time on it. I thought I was a savvy shopper but, alas, she has opened my eyes to an entire world of online deals, coupons and freebies. A great book for those looking to save money - and who isn't?

I bought this book as I am a huge fan of mashupmom.com she does my leg work for me - I love her site. However, I thought I would get more from the book, but I didn't. Out of 296 pages I walked away with 10 lines on a sheet of paper of information I wanted to look into. So, if you are a seasoned shopper, freebie finder and online money maker - you will not get a whole lot from this book. But for newbies it's a good start.

This is the best savings and making money book I have read. Rachel has really done
her research. Her explanations are clear and easy to understand. She takes you step by step through her saving process. I have used coupons for years but I must say that over the past three weeks of reading this book I have saved over $150.00 and gotten at least 20 items for free. I also have signed up at her website and use it daily. She doesn't only promote her own website she has an unending list of other websites that can benefit you. Let me give you an example: Chapter 4 "Get In the Game" at subheading"Drugstore Savings" she gives a complete rundown of how to save money at "CVS" and "Walgreens" but because she is not as familiar with "Rite Aid" she sends you to the website [...] which has a great explanation of savings at this drugstore. To me it shows she is interested in helping us to save in any way possible. I want to share this book with my friends but I refer back to it so often that I told them they must get their own. Bottom line is, this book is was worth every penny!!!!

This book could not have come at a better time for me. I am interested in ways to make some extra money working at home (out of necessity)and the book offers a myriad of ideas, most of which are very doable and practical. I spend a lot of time on the computer and was pleasantly surprised to find in this book so many new web sites and pages geared to assist the computer-user in making money and beginning a home-business. I love this book and am still finding new information and ideas in it. Great job!

Hello
First let me say I just strated this couponing game, so I am reading everyting I can get my hands on: Currently I have read Becentsable, Point Click and Save, and Cut your grocery bill in half. All good books and worth the reading. I got mine all at the library but if your thinking of buying let me quickly review.

Becentsable: Great for begening couponing. A little info that is perfect to start, will let you know where you need to know and will start saving you instantly--not overwhelming at all. Great how to for coupons.

Cut your grocery bill in half: Great budgeting book. Not at all about coupons, more about lifestyle changes. Some are a little extreme but you can pick and choose what will work for you and what you can live with. Great book to just give you ideas and things to think about. Very helful if your goal is to cut your houshold expenses extremly and not just learn coupons.

The two books together compliment eachother nicely.

Now for the big cheese. Point Click and Save! For me this was the be all end all in coupning and saving money. Funny becasue at the begening of this book she states you cant borrow it you need to buy the book becasue there is alot of info--and I thought sure she just wants to sell books--But after reading a few chapter and 25 book mark pages later--I should have bought the book. This book was the best. I am glad I read the other two first because I think I might have been overwhelmed if I hadnt already got the jist of couponing and saving. But since I had already been doing it --this was a great advanced step. I felt like I was taking a class. I didnt open the book unless I could sit down with my laptop and pen and paper--so much to learn in this book.

This truly is a mashup. The book tries to cover too many areas and fails to cover anything extensively. I'm disappointed I purchased this book. I did so based on all of the 5 star reviews. This book didn't provide me with any new information. The book will become quickly dated with its extensive list of websites. I would recommend How to Shop for Free or Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey: Save Big Money and Make the Grocery Aisle your Catwalk.
