Not very much interesting,
By Guang Wu (China) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Point of Honor (Paperback)
This is the second Joseph Conrad's story that I have read, perhaps I am still not familiar with Conrad's style because I read so little on his work.
But this story, despite of its great interesting content that occurred in the real world, lacks details on duel and what the duelists thought over space of 15 years before, during and after each and every duel. Clearly, Joseph Conrad lacks imagination on them. Perhaps he could have written a better story with such a good material. |
