About the Author
Shel Arensen and his wife, Kym, are missionaries in Kenya, Africa, to the Dorobo tribe. Shel has written seven books in addition to working as a magazine editor for fourteen years. He enjoys playing rugby, collecting seashells, watching birds, and taking pictures.

A 12 year old boy who loves this book,

I like The Poison Arrow Tree because it is very meaningful. It takes a lot of praying to heal someone who has been very sick. Because I am a Christian now I know how meaningful it is to pray. There is plenty of action and excitement. My favorite character in this book is Dean, the guy who is telling the story. To Shel Arensen: Thank you for writing these books. I really enjoy them and I can't wait until you publish more. Keep up the good work. God bless.

This book was great!! I read it to my kids and they wouldn't let me put it down. I had to keep on reading chapter after chapter! This a great kids book with some very good lessons that all kids should learn. I highly recomend this book and all the others by Shel Arensen.
