Not what I was looking for.,

The information in this book is more likely to be used in a T.V. show rather than in a toxicology test.

Great for trivia, moderate for review,

This review is from: The Poison Quiz Book: Pearls of Wisdom (Paperback)
This text is exactly what it says: Its a quiz book of toxicology. Its not meant to be a substitute for a reference or a board prep text. As such, its very light on explanations. However, as a quiz book, it is rather enjoyable. The text consists of little else but questions and answers, most of which fall into the range of trivia as opposed to hard science. You won't learn toxicology from it, but you'll learn any number of "golly-gee" pearls that may help liven up an otherwise dry lecture. If you are looking for a collection of "pimp" questions (or answers to them...), then this is a good choice. If you are looking for an indepth board prep, you'd be best to keep looking.
