This Olympia, WA band find themselves nestled deep in the roots of the Pacific Northwest punk scene with such predecessors as The Wipers, Sonics, and Dead Moon. They add their own touch to the garagey punk they forcefully spit out by layering wirey guitars over a pounding backbeat and adding quirky vocals delivered with urgency. Comparisons to Television and The Gun Club aren't far off the mark, although their spooky and razor sharp riffs are all their own. This is their third Kill Rock Stars release, following two independently released EPs. "A snug halfway point between bands like Dead Meadow and The White Stripes" - Popmatters. "Jerky rhythms, garage riffs, sludgy low end, and dark, often defiant lyrics" - Pitchfork.
