This CD is one of the longest Pokémon CDs I own. At over an hour long, it definitely has much content. The music is varied, from a playful mood to a tenser one (although it leans toward the playful side). I found the soundtrack to be slightly childish, which might be something to take note of, although there are tracks that are tense. Personally, though, I still enjoyed all the tracks.
This soundtrack includes a great insert: a full ten pages long with an introductory story, details about Pokémon rangers, song lyrics, and more. There are a total of three songs on this soundtrack, and if you are familiar with other Pokémon soundtracks, they are all at the end and not at the beginning. The ending song (Mamoru Beki Mono) has been cut short, which was a bummer, but it's still quite enjoyable.
Overall, this product has a lot to offer with thirty tracks and you will probably have at least a few tracks you enjoy if you purchase it. The insert is one of the best ones I have seen and I applaud the additional material included. The tracks fit with the ocean theme of the ninth movie. While I don't believe it is the best Pokémon soundtracks, it is by far the longest, and has varied tracks. For those reasons, I give it five stars.
