A great alternative to shows like "Akira" and "South Park"
The entire Pokemon series is great for all ages!It's a great alternative to the usual, annoying blood-and nudity obsessed shows like "Akira' and "Tank Police",and a great alternative to"South Park" and "Family Guy".If you want good,quality entertainment,look no farther than shows like "Pokemon","Digimon'and "Sailor moon".Kids will want to watch rhese tapes over and...

A total waste of money
the episodes are ok, But the problem is that you can see the same episodes on T.V the video version isn't uncut or anything and neither are the shows on T.V, so I'd just recommend watching the show on T.V

If I am to be honest the pokemon series aren't that good. My oppinion may come from the fact that I might be a wee bit to old for this kinda stuff. Sure, the series are pretty entertaining to watch. But not as good as Akira or Dominion Tank Police, wich might be more my age. If you are younger they might be really nice to watch. Pokemon is one of the two series ever to be sent on TV in Sweden(the other on is Sailor Moon). Sadly manga&anime is something really rare over here and therefore even a kids show with so so( quite crappy at times) animation and really bad dubbing (in Sweden that is) is something to shout hooray for. Another thing is that the Team Rocket downright sucks! If they didn't show up all the bloody time the series might have been more entertaining and gotten a fourth star. But now again you have got to face the fact that it is meant for kids originaly. |
