This title follows Taylor and his pals on the all-new adventures in the Pokemon Gold/Silver Game Boy games. The novelization follows Ash's adventures in Kanto, the land he travels in during the second portion of the Gold/Silver Game Boy games. It's a companion to "Pokemon Gold/Silver: Pathways to Adventure", and features many new characters, including Hoothoot, Lugia, Chikorita and Totodile. The novelization can be enjoyed purely as a story set in the Pokemon world, but it also includes hints, clues and strategies for succeeding in the second portion of the games. It is part of a series of official game guides published with Nintendo and provides a walkthrough of the game plus training strategies.

It was great to hear from the trainer's point of view. It was very exciting because you never know what will happen next.I hope they release more of those books!

When I ordered it I was looking for a stradegy guide,but what I got was the sequal to a story book featuring a boy named
Taylor and his,I can't remember what it is,but it's a fire type named(FireFriend). Although it is a story book,the battles are set up in a way that you actualy can use it to get you though the latter half of the game.Oh and by the way,if you do take my recommedation and buy this book,the prequal is Pokemon Gold/Silver:Pathways to Adventure if you wanted to know.
