Pokemon Jungle Japanese Booster Pack

I am terribly unhappy with my recent purchase. I bought a pack of Pokemon Jungle Japanese Booster cards for a Christmas present. I couldn't believe that the pack of cards were opened and had tape all over the pack. There is no way I can give this as a gift now. Now I am stuck with a pack of useless cards and I am out $8.00. It apears that the seller opened the cards and could have taken out good ones and left me with all common cards.

Just what I expected! These cards are part of the first set of Pokemon cards which is the set I'm trying to collect. I am drawn to all things nostalgic. I bought these in Japanese since I'm trying to learn the language. I figure if English Pokemon cards helped me learn English, why not buy some Japanese Pokemon cards? They even have some kanji in attack descriptions which will keep me busy for a while.

Unfortunately, these cards were veeeeery boring to my little Pokemon collector... They were very VERY common cards and he was a little less than excited to get them... They quickly went onto a pile of his "dork cards" he calls them, lol... ouch!! They were NOT the cards pictured, so please don't make the same mistake I did!! Wish I had bought something different.. or wish there was more variety or maybe a few good cards??? Would not recommend for your Pokemon fan :o(
