Pokemon Leaf Green is an alright game, I can't really tell the difference between Leaf Green and Fire Red. This RPG is good.

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pokemon Leaf Green (Video Game)
Leaf Green is a great game that brings back the old nostalgia of Pokemon Red or Pokemon Blue. It is worth the buy and its satisfaction is guaranteed. For old fans, this will be a wonderful reminder of the games that started it all and for new players, this game is a sure bet and is satisfying to play and play again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought this used..., January 26, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Pokemon Leaf Green (Video Game)
Battery was dead. The game won't work right with a dead battery. Luckily, I am a trained Electronic Technician, and I opened the cartridge, de-soldered the battery, and soldered a new battery onto the board, and closed it up again.

After the surgical procedure, it works like brand new, and just added another 5 years of lifespan to it.

I suspect that many of the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games being sold used are DOA. Fire Red/Leaf Green have better odds of being in good condition despite being used, because they are newer.

The game itself is great, I mean, comeon! It's Pokemon!

Just be aware that buying used games this old can require delicate technological repairs to get the intended functional results. Not for the faint of heart.
