Let me start by saying I had no idea who or what a Pokemon was before I made this purchase(with the intention of learning more about this craze that all the children are into these days.) My 9 year old has decided that she wants to start collecting and since I didn't know anything at all, zero,zip. I wanted to know at least something about Pokemon. After my purchase, my husband and I now know more than we ever really wanted to know about Pokemon! :0) Excellent resource for those just starting out or just "us" slow learners. Very easy to understand and just as easy to refer back to as a reference. I would highly recommend you purchase Pokemom Made Simple guides. They are well worth the money and not as expensive as some of the Pokemon books that are circulating.

Well back in the day when pokemon was popular and everyone and their moms was collecting, being interseted in the craze myself I bought this to know more about how the game is played etc. I read this book when I was 8 yes the whole thing and I showed off my knoledge this book is a very good book that children should buy back in those days the most important thing that this book taught me was how to trade and not get ripped off something a cousin of mine used to do to other cousins so I was not onw of them, but now the book really has no more use in this time and age but I wish to buy it again in the near futrue

this booked helped us get a handle on learning how to play the Pokemon cardgame with our son. It didn't answer everything, but it answered alot!
