Another Masterpiece,
By "riibu-chan" (Pallet Town) - See all my reviews

This is the soundtrack to the THIRD Pokemon movie (Lord of the Unknown Tower). It also features music from the shot movie "Pichu and Pikachu." The "Pichu and Pikachu" music is an incredibly fun and cute mix of songs about friendship. The "Lord of the Unknown Tower" music is more serious, powerful, and just plain beautiful. I especially enjoy the end theme song "Niji Ga Umareta Hi." I highly encourage you to get this CD as it is guaranteed the music will be nothing close to as good for the American version when it comes out next year.

Bokura No Movie Soundtrack!,
By "lugia2010" (St Albans, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pokemon Movies Music Collection (Audio CD)
This truly is 'our movie soundtrack' - my favourite Pokémon movie CD so far...The first time that I heard this CD I knew that it was the best Japanese Pokémon movie soundtrack CD that I had ever heard. This CD features several character theme songs (such as Annoon No Teema and Entei No Teema) but the tracks that I find the most enjoyable are 'Pichu Pika Suwingu' from the 'Pichu To Pikachu' short and 'Niji Ga Umareta Hi' (The Day a Rainbow Was Born), the end theme to the movie. Niji Ga Umareta Hi is my favourite song from the CD, despite not understanding its lyrics entirely! It is such an emotional song and when combined with the movie's closing sequence, is so poignant that it seems like an almost too abrupt end to the movie. This CD, in a word, rocks! It has powerful, emotional tracks that underline the message in the Third movie about family ties and the relationships between kids and their parents. A superb CD worth adding to a collection.

Lord of the Unknown (Unown) Tower,
A Kid's Review

The original sountrack of the third Pokemon movie is really cool. Pikachu records out did themselves. Espcially with OK! 2000 and #9 on the CD. That's the song they play at the end of the movie. ...

Better music than in the english dub,
By A Customer
This review is from: Pokemon Movies Music Collection (Audio CD)
I have heard music from the english dub, and I have heard this music. The music from this is sooooooo much better. It is mostly background music, but is really good. My three favorite songs on this are, in no particular order, OK 2000, the japanese theme song, Tomodachi kinenbi(friend memorial day)which is very kawaii(cute)and niji ga umareta hi,(i'm not sure how to spell it) which is a beautiful song. Anyone who listens to the japanese music will not want to listen to the english anymore!!!Check out kchu radio if you want to hear some of the japanese music.

Limited Tracks, Disappointing,

This review is from: Pokemon Movies Music Collection (Audio CD)
I was looking for a soundtrack to the third Pokemon movie, thinking the dubbed version had used the same as the Japanese one. It's hard to tell whether they did or not from this CD. They only included two of the instrumental tracks from the movie itself, the rest were either from the Pikachu short or versions of the Japanese worded themes. I found this quite disappointing as while the Pikachu short tracks were energetic and appealed to my jazz tastes, I had primarily wanted the CD for its movie soundtrack, of which there was very little.

Too ppl who only gave one star, you don't have a clue.
Only 3 stars, but not cause it's not good. If you have ever heard all of the music from the 5 so far, I've not heard the 6th Pokemon music yet. But, as you go from one movie to the next, the music starts getting better by about movie 3,,, this one. It's almost like they are just getting better at writing the music. As for the Pokemon (English) Music, my thumbs go down quick, and for the 4th Movie, it's just a re-mix of Pokemon theme music from the start of Pokemon,, yuk. Back to it I guess, each and every track is cool, and with catching music, and I too love, OK! 2000. I think I got this off of http://www.amazon.co.jp but don't quote me on that. If you like good Pokemon kind of music, buy this one. Denny. ;-) :-)

Not good music you might like it you like china rap and besides its easy for kids to choke on to. Makes nice dog chews. Either burn it or have fun with it fun you say? Yeah if you have a 100 foot drop with some nice bricks to stop its fall. burn it and see if pukechu gets mad! It says it is an import spells one thing (MADE IN CHINA BY CHINA RAP INC) If you buy this music it will be a hard time between it and barney soundtrack. Have fun with your disk!P.S Poeple let take it to the sledge hammers |
