5.0 out of 5 stars This CD was better in a few ways than the first CD.
This CD is great. In some aspects I say that it's much better than the first Pokemon CD (2.B.A. Master). Some were sad, some were really good. This CD also contains the new Pokemon Theme, M2M's "Don't Say You Love Me", Vitamin C's "Vacation" from Pikachu's Vacation. 98 Degrees' "Fly With Me" and two others. Contained "Catch Me If...

3.0 out of 5 stars An Okay CD
What disapoints me is that the CD,plainly doesn't have anything to do with the movie. I do like the new version of the Poke'mon theme though, and "If only tears could bring you back" and "Brother,my brother" are beautiful songs. I don't get why the main song is "Don't say you love me" because romance is not the main theme of the movie. The rest of the CD is clearly for...

Contained "Catch Me If You Can", another song from Pikachu's Vacation. Then the sad "Brother My Brother" from Mewtwo Strikes Back. And then there was the new Pokemon Theme. Of putting the two Pokemon Theme songs together. I would say that the newer one is much better than the original one. It's a little bit more fast-paced in a good sense. Same words, only a few background voices to make it even better. This CD is perfect for a Pokemon fanatic or a fanatic who likes Pokemon music or the movie. It still would make a great gift for any Pokemon fan. It really doesn't matter. As long as you like Pokemon, that's all that's required. This was an excellent CD. If you put the two Pokemon CD's together, it would probably be even better than it would be.

I too also saw the movie. and I also did cry at the end. this particular CD is a must for the Pokemaniacs or the Pokemon Masters out there looking to expand their collection. I highly recommend this CD and I belive it could top the first CD released (2 B A Master)

I don't get why the main song is "Don't say you love me" because romance is not the main theme of the movie. The rest of the CD is clearly for Teenyboppers. Almost all of the songs are by popular artists and have nothing to do with Pokemon. My theory:Money.
I reccomend this CD to EXTREME Poke'mon fans and teenyboppers(Kids who are obsessed with popular music artists for example Britney Spears,N*Sync,Backstreet Boys).

I saw the movie, and i'll admit, i cried in it when Pikachu tried to save Ash. And i have the cd, and all the songs on there go with the first movie. There's gonna be a 2nd movie next year probably in August. It's already out in Japan. I can't wait:) Anyways, all the songs are here are so cool:)

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Pokemon (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture) (Audio CD)
This soundtrack is really different from most Pokemon soundtracks, as it's sung by the most modern, best singers! Here's some opinions from me:

-Pokemon Theme; totally techno and a really neat song. You can listen to this all the time and never get tired of it!
-Brother my Brother; a good song, soft (not loud) but it can depict scenes inside your mind pretty well.
-Don't Say You Love Me. I don't understand why a love song is in here, but it's sung by M2M, so I'd have to give them credit--This song might not fit in but it's great!
-If Tears Could Bring You Back is a great song. It's basically for your listening pleasure, as it's really a song you would hear on the radio, and it's fine.

This CD is a fine-tuned CD and the songs are right on beat and have very good timing! I think you should get this CD right away!
-Great for listening in the car.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad - a few songs are good. :), November 2, 2002
This review is from: Pokemon (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture) (Audio CD)
After owning 2 B A Master, and being literally blown away by Mew vs. Mewtwo, I figured I'd check out the soundtrack. I was hoping that they'd have the actual score from the movie in there - but oh well - some of the songs are just gorgeous. My personal favorites are The Main Theme, Lullabye, and Brother My Brother. Vacation is okay, I've just listened to it so many times. The only thing I don't get - is why is there a love song on there? There was no romance involved in the movie - even with Ash and Misty. Brother My Brother is just beautiful, while Lullabye is cute and a fun-type of song, and the Main Theme is awesome - who'd have thought of making it a techno thing? (and of course, being a fan of techno makes it even more awesome.) The only thing I didn't like was having NSync and Britany Spears on there. They easily could have replaced them with some of the scores from the movie. *sigh* oh well, guess I'll have to just get the score soundtrack. :) But all in all, I really love this album , (even if it is just for 4 songs,) and would reccommend it to anyone who likes uplifting music. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Why are there love songs in the CD?, February 13, 2000
This review is from: Pokemon (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture) (Audio CD)
I honestly thought this wasn't a bad CD. I like all the songs, but one thing confuses me. Why is the theme song "Don't say you love me"? I mean, there isn't any romance in the movie, and Ash and his Pikachu are just friends.

However, the CD is undoubtedly worth getting, espescially if you like easily listening music.

We bought this CD for our 6 year old son because he wants to learn to play the Pokemon theme song on his drums. He hasn't seen the movie but listens to this soundtrack endlessly. I love it because it makes drum practice fun for him and because I love to see him singing and dancing.

I love the songs on this soundtrack and personally, I think the blister is better than the ECD. M2M is awesome and most of the songs on here are cool.
