The toy arrived much quicker than I expected. It was in excellent condition and in the original store packaging. He was so pleased with it and was only disappointed that I didn't get him any others.

These Pokémon Pickachu figures were used for cake decorations at my grandson's 6th family birthday party. I used three different sets of Pokémon figures on the cake. Apparently you can't have too many versions of Pikachu or even too many of the same version. In any case, they were not quite popular as Lickitung and Lickilicky (see Cake Decorations 2 Lickitung (~1.1") & Lickilicky (~1.5"): ~1/40 scale Pokemon DP Evolution Encyclopedia Series #5 Capsule Toy ~3.15" Mini-Figure (Japanese Imported) ), but very popular none the less. Pokémon seems to be all the rage with the kindergarten set these days. These figures are large and sturdy enough for younger children to play with under supervision. There was also another set of Pokémon figures, Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss (see Cake Decorations 1 Togepi (~0.25"), Togetic (~0.5"), & Togekiss (~1.25"): ~1/40 scale Pokemon DP Evolution Encyclopedia Series #5 Capsule Toy ~3.15" Mini-Figure (Japanese Imported)) that were as popular as the Pickachu figures. All three sets were handed out to 4 of the grandchildren as party favors.

This set of 3 Pikachu is exactly what it looks like. I used them to decorate our son's birthday cake, and after they were cleaned up, he now plays with them. They aren't educational, unless you allow for imagination--the best tool in any kid's "educational arsenal." The tails all came off when we got them; I just superglued them on and they haven't had any trouble. Pretty cute toys.

I could tell from the kanji that this was not made from Japan. I did some research on Auldey Toys and it's apparently a Yo-yo manufacturer from China. These toys are very cute and fun for kids butt hey aren't from Japan like the description on amazon says.

I ordered these even after reading the negative reviews because my grandkids are obsessed with Pokemon. They were very poorly packaged and are very, very poor quality. The kids found them before I could ship them back and love them. The problem, they have been playing with them about an hour and 1 is already broken.

My 8 year old daughter likes them. I'm happy because we received quickly and all was in tact. A piece has already broken off from one of the figurines, but that's cause they are fairly fragile. Overall we're happy.

They are small and haven't seen my Grandson play with them at all.... he probably lost them

I paid for this purchase (credit card was billed) but has not yet seen the product. It has been 6 weeks now. Be careful when making purchases that are non-Amazon delivered since as I have seen from this experience it is not reliable (and you may not see what you bought!).
