Hi, I'm a HUGE Pokemon fan! I have almost all the game for DS and GBA, and when I saw Pokemon Platinum, I was in shock. This game has many new features( for all that do not know much, I'm listing as many as I can.)
.Giratina, as you can tell, is the star of this game.
.Shaymin can change into its sky forme if you talk to the lady in Floraroma Town.
.An event which allows you to catch all three Regi's, if you have the 11th movie Regigigas.
.The legendary birds from Kanto are catchable. (I am not kidding, look it up on YouTube.)
.The Pokemon all have new sprites, plus new back animations!
.Some what of a new plot, there is a new Galactic commander, named Pluto. (Information about Pluto's English name have been confirmed. His English name will be Charon. ?????? :( )
.New man in the story, his codename is Hansome, I think he hunts down Team Galactic or something, He gives you a Battle Recorder, which I think is awesome. His English name will be Looker. (Why not just keep Handsome?????)
."Torn World" is where Giratina is found. You get him earlier in the game. The people at Nintendo FINALLY took the opetoonity to make a 3D feature! Giratina can turn into its Orgin forme here, but as soon as he is out of the Torn World, he changes into his Another forme.
.After beating the Elite Four though, a portal to the Torn World open in the Turnback Cave, where Giratina used to be found, and you can get the Platinum Orb here, which gives Giratina its Orgin forme back.
.Cute, little Rotom has five new formes by use of a Rotom Key. (You can get this through Mystery Gift, or by Action Replay DS)
.Battle Frontier has taken the place of the other thing.
.Arceus, Shaymin, and Darkrai are still availible through MG or codes!
There are lots of places to buy this game. I love it soooo much!

I bought this game because I own Pokemon Pearl. Pokemon Platinum surpasses all that is Diamond and Pearl and adds new features, and new areas. Not to mention the new Pokemon forms along with the new Battle Frontier. I didn't buy it from any of the sellers on this site but I did buy it from a great site called www.play-asia.com . They have this exact game for only 50 dollars plus 3-4 dollars for shipping AND it's imported to the US from their factories. I'd recommend any Pokemon fan to get this game, or wait for its English release next year.

First of all, I'm sorry for my English since I'm not a native English speaker.

Pokemonster Platinum is the best Pokémon game so far. They released it as a special version for DP line up, however it seems like it is a total new game! This version fully utilized DS's features.

It comes with many new features and concepts. At first glance, you would notice that the clothing had been changed; now player characters wear winter clothing since the climate become cold in this version. Also it has couple new areas include a new battle frontier island. Especially in the 'twisted world,' you can off the wall. (It's in 3D!)

Some legendary Pokémons are added too, such as Origin Form of Gigatina, and flying type of Shaymi. As you can see from the cover, Gigatina is the hero of this version. He is a guardian of the `twisted world.' Although you don't understand Japanese, it must be great enough to impress you. If you do understand the language, the game with storyline will even more impress you! (Or you wait for the English version that is coming next year.)

You can buy the same game for only $50 from here. They ship it from Japan, and you pay for shipping just about $3. It would take 5-10 days. Still, you can choose express mail which takes 1-3 days, however you have to pay about $20, so just buy it from Amazon if that is the case.

Highly recommended for every, any pokemon fans!

The third part seller who were selling Japanese version at Amazon
dropped the price from $70 to $50.

hello this my review on pokemon platinum the 3rd game in the diamond and pearl series i dont have this game right now but i think it is a fun game for anybody also you can catch the legendary birds when you talk to professer oak
