Pokemon Rumble Blast is a great game, not for a hardcore gamer, but Pokemon Rumble Blast is definitely good buy. Will probably get super-cancer from drinking more DIet Coke per day than any human being on Earth  |  3 reviewers made a similar statement

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended - Definitely Worth the Money October 30, 2011
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Pokémon Rumble Blast builds upon the Pokémon Rumble game available on the Wii Shop channel, but knowledge of the previous game is not required to enjoy Rumble Blast. The 3DS installment goes above and beyond the first game, adding towns, world levels, a developed story, and many more Pokémon. The 3D graphics on the 3DS look clear and colorful. For other 3DS games, I usually move my 3D bar on my system down to about halfway, but for Rumble Blast, I turn the 3D all the way up - the 3D is definitely one of the best I've seen on the 3DS. The music in this game is also catchy; a few of the tunes were taken from the original Rumble game. Rumble Blast also supports a two-player mode, so you can play with your friends. The length of the game also seems improved from the original. At first the game starts out fairly easy, but it progressively gets more difficult and provides a challenge. Even after playing through the entire game, it is still worthwhile to continue playing - there is a Collection option that acts like a PokéDex, where you can see all of the Pokémon you have encountered and which ones you haven't had join your team yet. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this game, and it has met and exceeded my expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition Your Pokemon Game Collection October 26, 2011
By Laura
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My 11 year old son eagerly awaited the release of this game and saved his birthday money for two months to pay for this game. He is actually home sick this week with pneumonia and this game has been great for keeping him in bed and resting. It's full of all his favortie pokemon characters, challenging and fun! Even my 17 year old was watching him play and said he'd like the game too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, yet fun game. November 6, 2011

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
For what it is, this game is actually quite fun. It's a simple "dungeon crawler" type game, where the Pokemon and the moves are the "loot." There is quite a large variety of moves to find, and each one is very different from the others (requiring different strategies to use). The real meat of the game occurs when you beat the story mode. The entire world levels up and you can go back and re-play all the old levels, trying to get the strongest Pokemon. You can also pay coins to increase the word level and keep it going.

I'm currently playing this game with my kids and we are having a lot of fun.

Pokemon power?
My copy hasn't arrived yet, but if it's anything like the Wii Rumble game, it explicitly stated that "This is a toy Pokemon. As a toy, it cannot grow, evolve, get more powerful, etc", so I don't think the power goes up. Unless I missed something, or they changed it up for Rumble Blast.

2 - 4 weeks ?
Yea, it does seem a little long for a game that just came out. Target and Best Buy ads this weekend show the game coming out on Tuesday 10/25 and they are selling it for $34.99 instead of $39.99 that Amazon is asking for it. Might want to check your local store tomorrow and get it sooner and... Read more

Best Buy $34.99
Not only is it cheaper at other retailers but Gamestop is giving away an actual preorder gift. It isn't much but it's better than a code that you could get for free online. I usually hate GS but you have to be a smart consumer and get your money's worth. $34.99 + free gift > $39.99 + no gift
