4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Deal for the Budget Gambler
I chose this poker set as a gift for my groomsmen, so I needed something below the $25 mark, but the sets that were about that price added almost $15 in shipping charges. This set qualified for super-saver shipping, so it sealed the deal. However, I was worried about the quality.

2.0 out of 5 stars Caution! Items missing
This Poker set is nice, though box for cards unstucked very quickly. But the most disappointing was that the second deck was missing. Package was sealed so I think that the deck was missed at factory.

I chose this poker set as a gift for my groomsmen, so I needed something below the $25 mark, but the sets that were about that price added almost $15 in shipping charges. This set qualified for super-saver shipping, so it sealed the deal. However, I was worried about the quality.

When they arrived, I found the case to be surprisingly sturdy. The silver aluminum case is resistant to damage and not bad on the eyes. The chips have a good feel to them, but lack a fancy design. That doesn't really matter when in a heated game, anyway. The chip count is enough for a game with two or three people, but when everybody had their own set, we did not have that problem. However, the cards left something to be desired.

The biggest drawback is that the chips and cards can get shuffled in the case if you shake it too much. Just play nice and everything will stay where it needs to be. Overall, you get more than what you pay for, but if you really need quality, go for the big ones.

Purchased this set for my husband for Christmas. He uses it for his poker nights with the guys. Its a good set for the price. He said the chips have a nice weight to them. Its not fancy and works well for them to play once a month.

The chips are sturdy (though not really what I expected) and the case is durable and solid, but the second pack of cards in the description was not included at all. There was just an empty space where it was supposed to be. Everything was sealed though, so I feel like the product was mislabeled in the factor.

The product is better than the price I paid for it! The metal case is sturdy and the chips are not cheaply made. The fact that it comes with cards is great. Is is perfect on the go and great for storage in the closet. I couldn't be happier with this product.

First let me be honest - I didn't buy this set to play poker. I actually was looking for a solid set of chips to use with other games which themselves came with cheap plastic chips.

So for my purposes, this set was ideal - plenty of chips in a variety of denominations, and with a good weight to them. The case is a nice bonus, and you can never have too many extra decks of cards or dice.

The quality of the chips isn't stellar if you're picky about things like paint jobs. But for this price, you can't go wrong.

the quality of the case and the chips is really good. however, i was disappointed that there was only 1 deck of cards and no dice in the set. also, there was only 1 dealer chip, not 3 as the photo would lead you to believe. since i had bought this to be a gift, i replaced the cheap deck with 2 decks of bicycle cards and also added a pack of 5 dice. skip this product and pay a little more for a more complete kit or at least one that you know what you're getting.

wow, the price is outstanding for such a durable case with very durable chips inside... I bought 2 (one for my son and one for a nephew) and they freaked! Now I don't have to worry about my expensive set getting played with, since they have their own now! It's nice enough to actually set up a small poker game night but cheap enough to buy for a kid... If you're new to the game of poker (especially texas hold em) you can buy this set and it will suffice but chances are you'll want a larger set soon after!

3.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate Description, September 18, 2011

As other reviews have pointed out, this set only contains one deck and no dice despite the description. Also, the items are not held in place very well and can shift around if you shake the case. The case itself appears to be well made and sturdy. The chips are plastic and durable, but the printed design is smudged on a large percentage of them. Additionally, the cards are pretty cheap and low quality. I ended up replacing them with Bicycle cards.

Overall, it's not bad given the price, but if you want a quality product (especially one that actually gives you what it claims to give) you should go with something else.
