Good story line but thats where it end. The author should have had a better editor - poor grammar and typos. Also, tends to use too much in the way of 1st person italics and metaphors - almost as though he had to have something to fill the pages.
The formating for the Kindle is extremly poor - varying type sizes; typos and other crap.
Can't say I'll be ready about Eric Blue again

And it never hit the NY Times Bestseller list as claimed. It's obvious most of these reviews are by the author or people he knows. I wish I could track him down to get him to remove my name from the book, but his web site seems to have disappeared. I've also gotten reports he is spamming other authors' blogs trying to promote this. Thoroughly unprofessional.

I cannot understand the high ratings given by others unless they are planted reviews. This book is horrible. Poor technical accuracy, poor writing, poor English. I barely got thru 25 pages and could not go on.

Be suspicious of books with under 100 reviews that are all 5 star, especially if they lack editorial reviews.

This is my first time reading one of Mann's books and it held me from page one - the book was one of those that I do not want to put down. The suspense and the mystery that I love to read were both here - this is one of those rare books that will make you forget what time of day it is.

This book is so cool! The imagination in this book is so mysterious and bizarre which makes it unlike any book you have read before.

Charlie Mann's thriller Polar Cap Five is a spectacular one. I love keeping my eyes open to read it all in one setting, the body just would not hold up. Can't wait for the next one.

The cover of the book had many comments from writers i love to read. They loved the book. I read it non-stop and I loved it too.

Action packed - Classic thriller that starts big and finishes even bigger. Loads of details that just won't let you put the book down.

This story has more threads than I can count, yet you always know what is going on. The tension builds with every page and the ending is very satisfying. Great work Charlie Mann..
