All the debris falls right back out of the bag onto the pool floor!

The Polaris 360 bags are as good as the ones we have been buying a local pool supply store.

The velcro on the bag gets impregnated with debris and is hard to clean out thoroughly.

I also thought this was a great deal, it is significantly cheaper than the Polaris brand bag. It actually works well for a... short... short period of time. There is a design flaw; the velcro quickly wears out and the bag does not stay shut. Let me be clear, the bag does not hold a SINGLE LEAF because the velcro will not stay shut. Also, even when the bag did stay shut, there is not a barrier to keep the debris from falling out of the bag (back through the mouth) when the pump is off. In other words, you have to remove the bag when the pump is running, otherwise the debris falls back out of the bag. In two months, I am looking for a replacement and will likely go with the original brand. I'm giving this 1 star because the bag is now useless.

I do not review many items, but this bag is the best one I have found so far. It has the benefit of being made with the same material of the smaller "all purpose" bag, but it's much larger, allowing it to be used during the fall season to pick up all the leaves and debris. I was changing the all purpose debris bag twice a day and it still was not able to keep up with all the stuff in my pool. But with this bag, within two days of changing it once a day, all the debris and leaves were gone. Now, even in the worst part of fall, leaves everywhere, I only have to change it at the most once every few days. Oh, and it's have the cost! I just have two more words to say... BUY IT!

I've had and rebuilt my Polaris for 17 years. I was in a rush and bought this despite the reviews - BAD IDEA.

THE WORST:
- Uh ... the bag stands straight up when the Polaris is at rest! What happens? All the debris falls right back out of the bag onto the pool floor! It's called gravity. I noticed the bag design when I put it on, it was not curved like the Polaris bag. Why? Patents. There's a reason the Polaris bag works BY DESIGN and this one does not.

REMEDY:
If you made the mistake I made and bought one of these, fasten the velcro strap that normally goes on the hose clip UNDER the last hose nut next to the Polaris. This will force the bag to bend over and not drop out the debris until you purchase a REAL POLARIS BAG.

THE BAD:
- It's true the velcro is poor. After one empty it failed to stick back together well.
- Also the design is inferior and drops debris to the pool floor (see above).
- The fasteners to the Polaris top are not as rigid as Polaris so allegedly they will fail quicker. This happened with the bag I replaced, it would not stay snapped on the Polaris.
- The reviews are correct. The mesh of this bag is different than Polaris and it traps much more water flow. I would guess that in a short period it would cause the velcro and snap to fail.

THE GOOD:
- It will work until I get a real Polaris bag.

Stick with Polaris. I've tried all the knock-off parts from wheels to back-up valves to everything inside and they just don't work like the real Polaris parts. We love/hate our Polaris, but it's still the best cleaner out there ....

The velcro gets dirty and then doesn't stay closed. We repeatedly found the Polaris picking up the material and then spewing it right back out into the pool. In four short months, I'm searching for a replacement.

I bought this replacement bag and the tab broke after the second time I attempted to empty the bag. It will ultimately cost me more than it would if I had purchased an OEM bag...

This item fits properly, and the Velcro is fine, but it is designed to sit straight up atop the functioning Polaris. The moment the Polaris shuts off, most of the sand, silt and debris drops straight down out of the bag and onto the pool floor. A completely unworkable design which, in the end, accomplishes nothing.

The contents from the bag fall back into the pool when you lift the Polaris to clean it. I wouldn't waste my money.

After several days of evaluation... this bag works.

It does not have the Polaris "Pouch" where debris is captured inside an inescapable compartment.

However, if you run the Polaris Pool sweep (in my case, a Polaris 360), the debris seems to stick to the top & aft portion of the bag - and it does not empty itself when the pump is turned off.

I would buy this bag again. Initially I was pleased with it, then discovered some loss of debris (after an initial run), but after using the system for a few hours, the debris captured seems to stick (as mentioned), and I'm satisfied.

Will buy another.

Recommended purchase.
