Works great, easy to install and best of all, considerably less expensive than what the local pool stores wanted for the same item.

I needed to repair the back up valve for my Polaris and started checking on line prices for the parts. The pool store prices were ridiculous and had to be special ordered with a two week wait time. When I checked on line I was pleased to learn that Amazon carried the assembly. The assembly price with free shipping (Amazon Prime) was within a few dollars of the service parts alone. It was an easy decision with genuine Polaris parts. I also bought the "will fit" bags also available on Amazon that were a great deal and equal to the Polaris brand. Yeah Amazon!

My old backup valve had stopped working. I tried an after market replacement - marginal. I got this OEM replacement and it works perfectly.

My old back-up valve started leaking from a deteriorated seal in the exhaust port. I wanted to purchase a new seal and fix it myself. Guess what? You can't buy a seal which would only cost about a dollar (at most). You have to buy the entire unit for about 50 dollars. Without any other options, I purchased the entire valve, which, by the way, works like a champ.

This back up valve was just as advertized. It was the Polaris brand and worked perfectly. Shipping was fast. Very happy with the purchase.

Found this backup valve on Amazon after I couldn't get the old one open. Tried to open the old one to get parts out of it, so all I had to do was replace the casing...case was split. All of the chemicals had the old one stuck together. This new backup valve works great. Pool is clean in 2-3 hours now, and I don't touch it.

The product might be okay but the word "kit" is misleading. There was nothing in the "kit" but the vac-sweep replacement.

In addition, I paid extra for two day delivery but received after eight days.

My old unit decided to take a dump after 20 years of service and although I could have purchased a replacement locally I decided to try the online service and was pleasantly surprised at the service and the price from Amazon, about half the cost of buying the unit here locally plus I saved the sales tax. Shipping was free to top it off and the delivery was only a few days which was no problem at all. The new unit is working flawlessly and my poolman is impressed as well.

The Polaris pool sweep seemed to be down to it's last leg. After a quick inspection I found the back up valve had a significant crack in it, and the sweep wasn't getting enough pressure to move forward to do its job (let alone 'back up' when it got stuck). Found a replacement back up valve on Amazon (for less than the local supply store). Quick delivery, easy change out (once I figured out the screws should loosen toward the existing valve not away from it. Doh!), and the pool sweep works like new. Reaches all the long forgotten places! This was a definite winner.

Purchased as replacement for original Polaris 380 system unit. Works fine -- and at 40% lower price than equivalent part from local "discount" pool supply store.
