All in all it is an ok camera for the price. Sometimes, but not all the time, it will turn itself off after just a few seconds. Ie, I would focus and get ready to take a picture and it would shut off before I could hit the button. That is with new batteries, not old. Other times it doesn't do it. But I have had it for about a year I guess and it still works. It is decent for the price and can take a good photo. It is worth the money I spent though and is small enough to tuck in your pocket.

The camera is not bad but also not very good. I would say that it takes photos that are barely better than those of cell phones. I recommend to keep the default settings. Perhaps one may think about reducing 3 megapixels to 1.3, to save memory. (Well, on your hard drive, in case you take way too many photos and never delete them.) Its burst mode is handy when one has shaky hands, but no flash will appear. Flash photos often come out well. Night photos often come out with a lot of pixelation and artifacts. Overall, it does a good job for its price.
What is surprising is that it records somewhat good videos, better than those of cell phones and cheap camcorders. Also, the videos do not come out really big (i.e. tens of megabytes when long) and they include all the sounds heard, because its microphone is sensitive. Overall, I would say this sole point justifies its price.
The camera is super light, small and thin. It's like my cell phone, an Alcatel Tribe, just twice as thick and twice as light. And that is very good.
