I love the Polaroid PMID705X tablet computer. The user interface on this tablet is great. It's very well designed and makes sense for a touch screen. I've never seen such a well thought out home screen and navigation on an Android tablet. I have looked at many other brands, but I kept coming back to the Polaroid due to the way everything was arranged on the screen. It makes it very easy to use, and the design is very attractive. Once I saw it, I was hooked; that's how much I like the Polaroid. Overall the outside seems well constructed. I like the rubberized back that is smooth and easy to hold. I'm also a big fan of having the dual cameras. So many other tablets only feature a front facing camera for video chat. I wasn't so much interested in that, but I wanted the rear facing camera for taking pictures. I feel the rear camera adds to the usefulness of the computer, and makes it fun to take on trips or to a park or something. It doesn't seem very heavy, which is nice when you're holding it with one hand. Overall it seems fast and easy to use. I like the Polaroid brand and name. I've seen a lot of new and interesting products with their name on it. I would recommend this to an adult or a mature teen. I would not recommend this for a child. It's not a toy, and a child could be too rough with it. I have to say, I'm satisfied with my purchase!

This is my first tablet, so keep in mind that I don't really have anything else to compare it to.

Pros
-It has been able to download and use every app I've needed to use without problems
-Wifi connection works well (few connection issues)
-Video is surprisingly good for the price of the tablet, both viewing and recording
-Fair battery life, and lasts for days when not in use

Cons
-It doesn't seem to like touch pens.. Tried using a few different kinds but none of them really worked well
-As mentioned earlier, the wifi does have a few connection issues
-Fairly sensitive screen in the aspect of being easily ruined. If more than a gentle touch is applied, it leaves permanent 'bright spots' on the screen.
-Although this doesn't happen too often, it seems to refuse turning on at times. I've charged it fully but once I remove the charger, it refuses to start. Re-plugging it into the charger for a small portion of time tends to resolve this issue.

My Opinion overall?
To be honest, I could probably find a better tablet to fit into my budget. However, although this tablet doesn't suit all my wants, it's sufficient,

This tablet takes about 6 to 7 min connecting to the internet sometimes even longer. Once connected to the web I get the same problem changeing sites. It is just a very slow tablet at least this one is.

This tablet was purchased as a christmas gift and it turns out, is not compatible with many applications. Windows on the main screen but Android operation system. Very confusing and not user friendly at all! Many of us spent days getting it to work properly and it just wasn't worth the frustration. I was so disappointed and embarassed since this was a gift. I am planning on returning it if at all possible.
