I have tested dozens of SDHC and micro-SDHC cards. One disturbing trend I noticed is that: the speed class rating for micro-SDHC is typically inflated. For example, a 'class-10' rating means the card must deliver a sequential write speed of at least 10MB/s. But somehow, a class-10 microSDHC cards is always slower than a class-10 SDHC card from the same manufacturer. Case in point: the PNY 32 GB microSDHC Card (P-SDU32G10-EFS2) claims to be 'class-10', yet it can only write at 8.6MB/s maximum, while the full-size PNY P-SDHC16G10 achieved 13.4MB/s according to CrystalDiskMark v3.01.

This Polaroid 32 GB micro SDHC (P-SDU32G10-EFPOL) did better than the PNY microSDHC. It achieved a sequential write speed of 10.3MB/s in CrystalDiskMark. So strictly speaking, it does qualify as a 'class-10' card. However, a closer look at its random write speed revealed its weakness. For writing small files, this Polaroid class 10 card is actually much slower than the SanDisk class-4 microSDHC SDSDQM-032G. See the benchmark results I uploaded to 'Customer Images' for details.

When you use a memory card in a digital camera to record HD video, it needs to store a huge video file each session. That means its sequential write speed is most critical.

I have had multiple SD micro cards in my life but this brand is the worst by far. Speed seemed fine and I was initially happy. 2 months later while using this card in my Samsung Galaxy S3 it became corrupted just out of the blue. I tried to reformat it in the phone and in a computer but no luck. Before the problem I never removed it and it had been a while since I paired it with my computer but I thought it must have been a fluke. I sent it back and swapped it for another Polaroid 32gb micro card ( same model). 2 months later same exact result with no apparent cause. Since then I have been using a Transend 32 gb micro card for about 4 months with no issues... You have been warned!

CrystalDiskMark 3.0 ( using a testsize of 1000MB ) shows the microSDHC has a Seq read performance of 14.47 MB/s and a write performance of 9.242 MB/s, great value for Amazon's deal of the day price!

Died after just under 2 months of use. Started receiving SD card errors on my cell phone a few days ago and now the phone doesn't recognize it at all and can only read some of the files off of it using a card reader.

I'm sad to say this chip stopped working about a week after first use. I installed it correctly and it failed soon after. My Galaxy Note 2 popped up a notification saying the chip had stopped working. Sad day. I lost a lot of pictures too. Sad day.

Bought one of these for an HTC Flyer tablet. Works great so far (1 day). I was able to write to it at 9.20 MB/sec, which is pretty close to the rated 10 MB/sec. Now I just hope it lasts.

I ordered one for a Samsung S3, it failed / fried within two days. Phone was brand new.
My daughter and son-in law ordered also same card fr this seller. They had brand new Electrify M smartphones.
One failed in three weeks the other failed in one and a half months.

Beware people. Ignore this low price. Pay more, and get something besides the wasting money experience.
Amazon STOP selling this card !

Of course the card waited until I had numerous pictures and video recorded to it before it crapped out. Got an error message on my phone that the SD card was removed. Have tried to recover with no luck. All the pictures of my son's first professional baseball game are gone (it wouldn't be so bad but we actually got to go onto the field before the game). Very dissapointed. I will be trying to return the card for a refund. Not so worried about the money, I'm mad the pictures can't be recovered.

This is the first time I have tried the Polaroid cards. It's most likely the last as well.
