We had similar experience to the other reviews. Got this frame for Xmas 2009. It was nice while it worked, with good resolution, but then in mid-February it just stopped for no reason, black screen, wouldn't power up. I tested the power adapter with a voltmeter -- that was working fine and not the problem -- but the frame itself was toast. Stay away!

Got it as a wedding gift and it didnt work at all the first time. Traded it back at Target for another and it worked for a week before the screen stopped staying on. Its the same issues as everyone else on here with this product. DO NOT BUY!!!

The resolution and screen size on the Kodak XSA-10169S is very good. Unfortunately though, it didn't even make it one year before the screen went black. We unplugged it when we went out of town - and when we plugged it back in, the start up screen would come on for a split second and then it would go black. Very disappointing!

Bought as a gift and decided to test it, which was a good idea since it didn't work right out of the box. Pushed the power button and the screen came on for less than a second then shut off. Never was able to get it to stay on long enough to access the Menu. It will go back tomorrow!

This frame worked for a little over 3 months. Then went black.

Target would not take it back, so we bought another one. This one lasted less than a day. Took it back.

Do not buy this product. It is defective. And the person I spoke with at polaroid, Blair, was so rude and made it sound like I was inconveniencing him. After me asking to speak with a supervisor, he agreed to let me send the original frame back (at my expense) and they'd send me a new one. NOT WASTING MY MONEY ON THE SHIPPING because I bet it WON'T WORK! I asked what would happen if the new one didn't work. He blamed it on the wiring in my house and basically said I was screwed.

Polaroid sucks.

We bought this frame to load with family photos and give to Great Gramma for her Birthday. It is a super buy for such a large frame! It holds tons of photos and has SD card slot too. We have other, smaller digital frames that have sound and other features, but we never use those features anyway. No use paying for something that will not be used. I'm sure she will love this and probably keep me busy loading more photos for a long time.

Had one that worked well for about 8 to 9 months. Then it went pinkish and kept going off. Too late to return so I exchanged it for a new one last month. So far this one is deteriorating faster. It won't stay set on the settings I put on and randomly shows parts of pictures enlarged (cropped). I give it another month tops.

Like all the other reviews this frame quit working after less than a year. Turn on and only had black screen. I let it sit for a few months tried it again and still dead. Then 1.5 years later was wondering why I had not thrown it away, and was about to. I decided to plug it in one more time and the darn thing started working again... Don't know how long it will last but at least is may work for another few months... Obviously bad design regardless.

This frame worked fine for about a year and then the screen powers up but then quickly goes black. I would not recommend.

This thing worked for a few weeks and then quit. Push the ON button and it flashes "Polaroid" briefly and then shuts off. Call to customer support only suggestion is to buy another one! 90 day warranty PROVIDED YOU KEPT THE RECEIPT or you can "go fish." More made in China crap from what used to be a great American manufacture that stood behind the products. Will try to find another brand that has at least a ONE Year warranty even if it is made offshore.
