I don't know about others but these probes seem to quit working after just a few uses. After already spending $30+ on the digital thermometer you would think it should last for a while without having to be replaced. Well the digital part continues to work great the probes have a short live span. Since I didn't want to drop another $30 bucks I thought I'd try out this inexpensive replacement probe. Guess what it works and it work with all the digital thermometers that I have! I'll be buying this replacement probe vs. buy a whole new unit from now on!

In fine print, instructions warn to not use probe above 356F, however during my first use, I permanently ruined probe (now reads only "HI") when I subjected it to slightly above 300F, I will buy a replacement probe, but package insert should warn in large print not to subject to above 250F or so.

Original probe failed after 6 years. Biggest trick is finding correct replacement. This web site assists in getting it right the first time. This one works perfectly
