I bought this scale to do small kitchen measurements. It is supposed to weigh things up to 4.4 pounds. No matter how much weight I put on it, I couldn't get it to register a weight over 1.5 pounds! I tried weighing something that I knew was exactly 1 pound and I got a different answer 9 out of 10 times. It looks great, but it does not work.

If you really need to know how much something weighs, this is not the scale for you. Every time I tap it, it shows a different number.

Many years ago I purchased this scale from a kitchen store and was extreemly happy with it. It is compact therefore it can be stored in a drawer and the bowl converts to a cover so that the spring mechanism is always protected. It always seemed accurate. I lost it in a flood and searched to find this exact replacement. I am so happy with it.

I joined weight watchers and purchased this scale to help weighing meats and other foods I needed to calculate points on. I love this scale! Works wonderful, and for under [$$] how can you go wrong? The little dish on top is diswasher safe and just sets on top of the scale, so you can use the flat surface for items that don't fit in the dish. If you need to keep track of the weights on things you eat, I suggest this little gadget.

I've had this scale for years - it's easy to use, and I've always had good accuracy with it - and you can't beat the price. I like being able to quickly zero out when I use a different container to hold the food.
