5.0 out of 5 stars Ironing Sleeve with an Emblem Patch?
I work for a federal agency which requires me to wear a uniform and since I prefer to do my own shirts instead of paying someone else I needed and easier way to get my sleeves ironed without leaving an impression of my emblem patches on the other side of the sleeves. This item has completely solved the problem and has made sleeve ironing much easier. Definitely...

2.0 out of 5 stars what a bummer
well, unfortunately this is another of those items that you buy with high hopes, but it ends up just taking up space in the closet... issues i have with it:
1. it moves around when i'm trying to get the sleeve on it (i need a couple more hands)
2. due to the location of the stand, i'm unable to get the whole sleeve onto the board, so really you can only do...

I tried using it twice and gave up. it's not worth the extra time it takes just to do one tiny part of the sleeves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little ironing board at a great little price!, July 30, 2008

I bought this sleeve board to use mostly for ironing the legs of my pants, as I don't wear many long-sleeved shirts. It is really nice to have, to prevent creases on the back side of sleeves, pant legs, etc. I wish I had had it, too, when my kids were little, as I can see that it would be perfect for smaller clothes.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good but broke quickly, February 15, 2010
This review is from: Polder 521-93H Basic Ironing Sleeve Board, Red Grid (Kitchen)
I found this board excellent for ironing shirt sleeves. I have many French cuffed shirts and those have several pleats which can be fiddly to do. My shirts did up perfectly like they'd come from the best laundry in town. Had wished I'd bought one years ago. Unfortunatly, my joy was short lived as after only a few uses it snapped in half! It's a cheap fiberboard which is clearly not suitable. I'm going to try to reinforce it underneath with a small narrow bracket meant for shelving. Wish the manufactorer would have done a better quality job as it's a VERY useful item.

This item is not sturdy enough to actually iron on. Broke after my first use.

I use this ironing board almost every day in my sewing business. I was very inexpensive and it does what it is meant to do. It folds flat and takes little room to store. Great product that is hard to find in stores.

I had no problems with this sleeve board. It does its job, folds flat, and hangs from the attached loop when not in use.

The Ironing board slides up to open and slides down to close. Very nice.

1.0 out of 5 stars poor construction, August 11, 2008
This review is from: Polder 521-93H Basic Ironing Sleeve Board, Red Grid (Kitchen)
While I expected a lower-quality item for a total of $7.00, I didn't expect the bolts holding it together to come out of the board the first time I used it.

I had to secure the legs with nuts within months, but this one is very handy to begin with (size: 21 x 5 inches).
