Perfect size for single/couple, cute, stylish, but bottom water spots deeply,
By MilMascaras (Los Angeles) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Polder 6115-75 Compact Stainless-Steel Dish Rack with Utensil Holder (Kitchen)
This is the perfect size for single/couple, holds about 6 fullsize dishes, couple desert/salad dishes/cereal bowls, a weeks worth of silverware simultaneously, but not very good for glassware or coffee cups, but that is okay. Everyone who sees it comments on how cute it is, but says that it would be too small for them: well they just need to wash their dishes more frequently, instead of letting old crusty dishes pile up in sink. The bottom steel drain rack may or may not be stainless steel: when your plates drip into it, it dries with thick water spots, and I can see small amount of rust/oxidation where rack legs rest on drip tray, after many months of usage. Dont want to use abrasive cleaner or 3M pads to clean this off, but I may have too. Not a fatal design flaw, but I wish this didnt happen. Even fits inside most sinks to save counter space. I may even buy another one if this one spots and rusts too much, anyways...

Great if you only need it for a short while or don't get it wet,

This review is from: Polder 6115-75 Compact Stainless-Steel Dish Rack with Utensil Holder (Kitchen)
The is a great compact dish rack that holds more than you would think, as others have noted. The big problem is that the utensil basket will begin to rust rather quickly and will be unusable within several months. We use the dishwasher for most items, but even with limited use, we've had to stop using this rack because the rust was so bad.
So if you only need to use it for a couple months, or if you can somehow keep the utensil basket dry (kind of defeats the purpose), then this is a good item for you. Otherwise, keep looking.

The Greatest Dish Rack Ever for Small Spaces!!,
This review is from: Polder 6115-75 Compact Stainless-Steel Dish Rack with Utensil Holder (Kitchen)
This dish rack thinks it is 5x the size it actually is. I have a very small sink/counter area for a dish rack, & this one is wonderful! It holds a ton of stuff, EG: I have loaded it w/dishes after a dinner for 5!!! It also looks good (important to me), not tacky. The ticket is to sit it on the sliver of counter space between the wall & the sink, and just stack away. The only thing to watch out for w/this item is make sure every few days or so you dry/wash the pan otherwise it will get rusty over time. This is actually my 2nd one like this-the 1rst one I bought @ a retail outlet 3 years ago, but then they stopped carrying this rack, & I could not find another one anywhere until I checked Amazon. This will be the best $20 you ever spend.
