It has made my ironing chores so much easier.

The top clip for cord is not real easy to get cord into and the plastic doesn't appear very strong but we will see.

I had one years ago but this is definitely an improvement.

Abolute must to keep your iron cord out of your way. I had one of these for many years from Polder and broke it. Purchased another brand that turned out to be junk. Found this product again and once again I am happy!!

And hard to find gadget. An older, different version of this finally fell apart, and I found it impossible to replace in any land-based store -- probably because people don't iron much anymore except when sewing. Although it takes a minute to set up, it is well worth it to be able to keep the cord out of the way of the iron.

The cord holder can be folded down parallel with the ironing board when not used. This feature made the cord holder too weak to hold the cord up while using the iron. I am using a consumer model Black and Decker iron. The cord is the same thickness and weight of most irons sold today.

Also, the clamping screw used to hold the cord holder to the ironing board could not keep the cord holder secure to the board. Its contact area was too small to get a good grip on the board & it would come loose after 10 minutes of ironing. Of course, the cord constantly falling over didn't help matters any.

I have now super glued the cord holder in place to keep it upright while holding the cord. Also, I have removed the plastic holding bolt from the clamp. I am using a small sliding bar clamp from Lowes to hold the thing to the ironing board.

Thought from time to time that a cord holder for my iron would be beneficial but now that I've purchased the holder I'm wondering why I waited so long. I highly recommend this product. I do a lot of sewing which requires a lot of pressing and keeping the ironing cord out of the way enhances the ironing experience. An excellent product.

I had great hopes for this iron cord minder since it had all positive reviews, but alas, it wasn't to be so. I do a LOT of sewing and have a heavy duty iron with a thick appliance cord that would not go through the very narrow cordminder opening for the cord. I mean, not even close! And then the weight of my iron cord weighted down the entire cordminder so it bent backwards. This is a lightweight meant for the typical household iron.

Just what I was looking for - it keeps the ironing cord up off the board and item being ironed. I was trying to replace an old one that was broken and could not find one in any of the stores, so I went to Amazon and found one.
