5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful
I don't get the first review, this dryer is sturdy enough to hold a medium size of laundry. Easy to move around or store. Been using it for more than half a year and it already pays out compared to an electrical- or gas dryer.

Absolute bargain. Highly recommended.

This freestanding dryer looks good in the picture, but it is extremely poorly made. I have used it for only five days, and it is already coming apart in one place. It's only a matter of time before it collapses completely. I am returning it. Please don't waste your money on this item.

This dryer lives up to it's description. It has enough room for a basic load of laundry and is sturdy enough inside my laundry room. I do set my dryers outside in the summer, but now it is too cold, so that portion of the review will have to wait. I would guess that the dryer would blow over on moderately windy days, but I can steady it with some weight on the floor bars.
It is worth what I paid for it. Would purchase again.

5.0 out of 5 stars a green alternative to electric drying, April 5, 2009
This review is from: Polder Argento Deluxe Freestanding Dryer (Kitchen)
I used this exact model for drying my clothes when I spent a summer in Germany. Then, it was more of a necessity that a "green-choice" because the dryers in my apartment weren't very efficient. I was able to use this rack with great success, and I am considering to get one for my home here in the states (as a green-choice) to dry my clothes when the temperature is reasonable outside. I always located the rack indoors (didn't have to worry about it getting blown over, or the clothes being stolen) near an open window.
