Nice and simple,

Very cute, exactly what I wanted. Easy to install by myself, but used my own screw anchors. The anchors that came with were cheap and flimsy. Towels in picture must be hand towel and wash cloth. The shelf is not as large as it appears in picture, relative to items on shelf.

WATCH WHERE YOU PLACE THE SCREW HOLES,

TOOK ABOUT TEN MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE BUT A WORD OF CAUTION...WATCH HOW YOU LINE UP THE SCREW HOLES. I PLACED THEM PERFECTLY NORTH AND SOUTH...MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SCREW IN THE BOTTOM HOLE...THE SHELF WAS IN THE WAY.
I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID BUT LINE THEM UP EAST AND WEST YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF TWENTY MINUTES DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

This rack / shelf design in not the most elegant one you can buy, but it seems solid enough, and is easy to assemble and install. Rack depth is 9 inches overall, with a 2-inch gap between the back edge of the glass and the wall. The glass has a little play, but is securely held in place with a properly assembled unit.
This would have been a perfect transaction, but, unfortunately, the bag holding the assembly hardware had been opened (apparently a return?) and we were missing 2 bolts and the hex driver. Needed an unexpected trip to the hardware store and an extra $4.73 to remedy. Bummer.

Perfect for Powder Room,

I installed this rack in my powder room and it looks great! The assembly was easy as was the installation, which I did alone. It provides adequate space for my decorative items as well as a sturdy display for my accent towels. This rack comes at a great price as I was not willing to spend $50+ for others that are on the market. My powder room now has a finished look.

While this is a good shelf for the price it would have been helpful to have some instructions provided with it to aid in assembly and installation. The only graphics in the box was a parts description.
After much ****ing around, putting parts together and then having to take them apart again to hang the sides, then take apart again to install the shelves, it was extremely frustrating. It would have been so much easier had someone bothered to prepare an instruction sheet. I doubt that I will buy a Polder product again.

This is great. It was easy to put together, and was the perfect finishing touch to my bathroom. I've gotten many compliments on it.

Ok, let's face it, the styling (or lack of) looks like something you'd find in a commercial kitchen, but if you overlook that, it's quite functional. At first, I was skeptical because often shelves don't hold much because they are smaller than the picture looks. But, the size is good and holds all my stuff with room left over. When putting the shelves in, notice they go in between two thin metal pieces. Theoretically, when you tighten the rods on each side, the glass should stay in place and not rattle. Well, only one of mine did. So, I took it all apart and took some pliers and clamped on the metal pieces a little to allow just enough space for the glass to fit in. Then I put the rods back on and tightened them. That worked. Otherwise, you may end up doing what I did and continuously tightening the screws. This just compresses the metal where the rods screw in and ends up looking funny. Plus, if you get one glass shelve tight, it often makes the one other loose. So, my best advice is to fit the metal shelves into the glass and see if they are a little loose (sometimes it's just loose on one end) and use the pliers to clamp and get it so the glass just barely fits into the metal pieces before attempting to put the whole thing together. Use a paper towel or cloth over the metal pieces as they are soft and you will leave marks otherwise. The cheap plastic screw anchors that come with this didn't work for me. I had to use some others I already had. You might try triplegrip by Cobra. Amazon sells several sizes. Type cobra triplegrip anchors into the amazon search box. It's not a heavy item, just that flimsy anchors often don't have enough bulk to them to work well and sometimes you just end up losing them inside the wall. Maybe I'm just not cut out to be a carpenter. I have uploaded a picture of this item hung on my wall, you can look at the item photos above to see it. I'm happy with it because it gets rid of the ugly wall brackets I had to hold all my stuff before and it eliminates the need for a towel rack, since it's built in. I also like that it's light weight, so I don't fear it falling off the wall. As long as you don't mind the cosmetics of it, I think you'll be happy.

It is just as depicted BUT the measurements do not include the circular brackets where it attaches to the wall. Add an extra 2 inches for them if you want accurate measurements.

Good item, but not quite easy to install it because you need to align 8 screws accurately.
