Whether placed indoors on a kitchen wall or computer desk or outside on a deck, this useful little clock tells the time and the temperature for its immediate location. This 7-inch diameter clock is meant for viewing at fairly close range. For reliability, the clock runs on a quartz precision movement and has a high-grade plastic bezel that is resistant to breakage. The bezel features printed numbers around its circumference for monitoring the second hand.

The thermometer reports the temperatures in both Fahrenheit (ranging from 0 to 100 degrees) and Centigrade (ranging from –20 to 40 degrees). A water- and vaporproof rubber seal around the glass lens prevents water and moisture from getting into the clock’s workings, making it ideal for use outdoors or next to an indoor range. This clock runs on one AA battery (not included) and either mounts on a wall or sits on a table using the included stand. I ordered this clock for my bathroom. It arrived intact and I put a AA battery in it. It ran less than a day. I tried multiple batteries, but no luck. It would run for up to 1 minute but that was the longest it would run. When I went to the company's website for information (www.polderinc.com) as listed on the directions included with the clock I found nothing related to the merchandise, just a bunch of weblinks. That was $ down the drain.
