After a great deal of research, I bought this rack because it was small, adjustable, and not horribly expensive. When it arrived, I thought it was too small for our standard double sink. As it turns out, the rack hangs nicely in one of the sinks still allowing about 1/2 of that sink to be used for other things. For example, you can wash a plate in the first sink and rinse it in the space between the side of the 2nd sink and the rack. The rack also has a nice unobtrusive look.

December 2010 Update
We continue to use this rack almost daily. It has held up very well--it still looks new. We are lucky enough to have a dishwasher also. I put the rack in the dishwasher now and again which seems to help it stay nice and shiny. I continue to truly enjoy the fact that we still have sink space beside the rack.

I expected this sink rack to be larger, but it wasn't, and it was returned. Was very pleased with the return policy.

No way you're going to find this specialty product on the shelf at a brick and mortar retail store. This unit fits perfectly with just enough room for the new small stainless silverware drainer attached to its side. It replaced an older wire mesh unit where the white plastic had peeled off leaving nasty rusty metal. Great unit, great price, free shipping, no tax. Yeah Amazon!

I have a plastic coated in-sink narrow rack that I bought 10 years ago. It is cracking all over so I decided to replace it. Unfortunately, it is no longer made. This Polder KTH-100 is the best narrow in-sink rack I could find. I wish that it was longer and had more wire supports in the bottom. That is why I give it a 3. I'm going to look into recoating my old one. In the meantime, this is what I am using.

This is the type of dish holder I was looking for. It's a little small, but holds my everyday items ie. cups, bowls and plates. Everything else I dry and put up.. great little product.. I think it'll hold up pretty well.

Pros: This sink drain rack offers the ability to usee over the sink and on the counter without scratching either.
Cons: This is the second one that I have owned because the plastic-rubberized coating started cracking after about 3 years and the metal underneath began to rust. This is the only one small enough with this much draining area I can find that I can use for both sink and counter.
