Nice looking,

It looks great. It is small which is why we bought it because we have limited counter space so don't expect to fit too many pots and pans in this. And you can't fit very much underneath the second tier--maybe 3-4 cups or a couple of cereal bowls. However to the right of the tier and on top of the second tier you can place tall objects. I would have liked it if the water could've drained into the sink but the drain board does not have any holes. However it does the job for a compact size drain rack.

If it's a stainless steel it's a very low quality one cuz after just few months it started to rust. Not to mention the little box for forks and spoons which fell apart shortly after purchase.

We searched through dozens of products, both online and at stores, and this one was the most attractive due to:
- size/capacity - range of dishes it could hold at once (cups, bowls, plates, flatware) - ease of cleaning - durability - others' reviews We have had it for several weeks, now, and it has lived up to our expectations. It holds quite a few dishes, including the smaller items (cup measures, serving utensils, shot glasses, etc) under the upper level. The lack of a drain is no big deal, as we just tip the excess water out between dish loads. A couple small rust spots appeared when we didn't remember to empty water, but when we noticed them and took the sponge to them, they washed right off. Unlike some of the metal ones we found in stores, the bars on this one don't bend easily. It looks nice on the counter, to boot.

This dish drainer looks great & has a very functional layout. But I'm not very happy with the drain board underneath. I usually do my dishes after dinner & leave them to dry in the rack. But by doing this my drain board has little dots of rust stains already & I've only had it about 3 weeks. I think the only way to avoid it getting worse is to physically dry it after every use. If I could return just the board, I would.

I love the look of the rack, but the only problem is, this are no drain holes. Water sits at the bottom. I wouldn't buy again or recommend.

The stainless is NOT 18/8. BE CAREFUL! It's very easy to have yellow stains even I keep it dry each time after I use it.

A must have!,
This review is from: Polder KTH-6112 Two-Tier Dish Rack System, Stainless Steel (Kitchen)
I've had this Polder Dish Rack for 10+ years and it's still going strong. It's compact, made of high quailty stainless steel, takes a beating and is versitle in that I can remove the top rack to place large pans/platters. Easy to clean, I use a stainless steel scrub for the bottom tray every once in a while to return it back to it's original luster. I have never had a problem w/rusting and do not find the lack of a drip hole in the bottom tray a problem. On the rare occassions when I have to hand wish my dishes/china, I can fit a large number of dishes, bowels, and cutlery in the rack w/out a problem. I highly recommed this product.

Ok, with online shopping going so crazy, we all assume that what we read and research is gospel. I was mislead, that the advertise specifications says the rack and drain is made of stainless steel. Great, that's what I am looking for because of my past experience, my previous rusted so badly that I vowed to get a complete stainless steel for whatever cost within reason. Well I am infuriated that this thing is rusting after 2 months. Who cares if it drains or not but the rack is rusting, I have not done an element check but it is rusting.
Thanks for listening. dkcao@msn.com Please tell me if you have found a good one.

Love this drainer. The two tier design allows a lot of dishes/cups/cookware to be stacked to dry.

Got this for my daughter. Unfortunately the metal is not very good and it rusted. Not worth the money.
