5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job right!
I use this to iron clothes on my bed every once in a while and it's perfect. If anyone has ever burned a bedspread (my mother) you'll like having this. Very good for travel too!

1.0 out of 5 stars size not as advertised
I chose to buy this item because its stated size is larger than other items I can find and I wanted it to iron material/blocks for quilting. 1.0 out of 5 stars size not as advertised, December 6, 2009

I chose to buy this item because its stated size is larger than other items I can find and I wanted it to iron material/blocks for quilting. However it is more than 2 inches less than stated...on both length and width. So size wise it is not impressive at all. Furthermore the edging is sewn so tightly that the silver side puckers and ironing is very difficult as the material moves. For all intents and purposes, this item is pretty worthless to me.

3.0 out of 5 stars meets the initial expectation, April 6, 2008
This review is from: Polder 43006 Travel Ironing Blanket, Silver/White (Kitchen)
This blanket is very light and does what it is supposed to do: creating a pseudo ironing board. But for some reason, I found the corner of the white surface turning yellow after the 1st time use. I haven't figured out why yet. But that doesn't seem to affect anything. After my second time use of this product, I wished it could have been bigger. Also, since it does not have an edge (like regular ironing boards do), it's hard to iron shirt cuffs, near the collar, etc. But asides that, I'm pretty satisfied with the product as it is light, foldable, and does not damage the table.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Satisfied, July 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I'm very disappointed with this purchase. It is not even worth the money it would take to return it! It is "bunched" up around all the edges and doesn't lay flat for ironing. Very lightweight and cheap. I would not recommend it for purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ironing pad, November 14, 2010

I was disappointed in this product. the reason for purchasing it was that a friend had one on her dryer and was able to iron things quickly without pulling out an ironing board. she said she purchased it from Amazon and gave me the link. well, hers has magnets so it stays in place, this one doesn't so it doesn't work as well.

6 of these plus cotton quilt batting and waterproof outdoor fabric and you can make yourself an oversized ironing board to iron quilts on.
